Perry has been working professionally as a singer, songwriter and guitar teacher for over 25 years. He has taught privately for students of all ages in one-on-one and small group settings, as well as taught classes at Bergen Community College, and for the community of Franklin Lakes. He is also a registered visiting artist with Beth Israel and the Louis and Lucille Armstrong Music Therapy Program. As cofounder of OurSongs: Collaborative Songwriting for One World, he and Mary created the concept for this unique application of songwriting.
